Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and the operator of Krak Multiplayer about using the Krak Multiplayer apps, the website krak-mp.cc and related services (together "Krak Multiplayer"). By creating an account or using Krak Multiplayer you accept these Terms, the Community rules, which are part of them, and you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy.
1. Who provides Krak Multiplayer
- Тимофій Соломенцев
- Email: support@krak-mp.cc
In these Terms "we" and "us" mean this operator.
2. What Krak Multiplayer is
Krak Multiplayer helps Minecraft players play together over the internet: Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on phones and computers, and Minecraft: Java Edition on computers. A host opens a world in Minecraft on their device, and friends join it through Krak Multiplayer, where it appears in Minecraft's list of LAN games. Game traffic travels through our relay servers, so players do not see each other's IP addresses. Krak Multiplayer also has a catalog of worlds and servers, friends, chats, posts, communities and invites.
Krak Multiplayer is not an official Minecraft product. Not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. You need your own legitimate copy of Minecraft, and your use of Minecraft is governed by the Minecraft End User License Agreement and Microsoft's terms.
3. Who can use it
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), a parent or guardian must agree to these Terms for you or with you.
- You may not use Krak Multiplayer if we have banned you, or if the law forbids you to use it.
4. Your account
- You can start with a nickname only (a device account) and later add an email address or a Google account to sign in on other devices. If you lose the device of a device account without adding another way to sign in, we cannot restore the account.
- Give true information, especially about your age. Keep your password and devices safe, and do not share or sell your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Nicknames must follow the Community rules. We may change a nickname that breaks them or that pretends to be someone else.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or as described on the account deletion page.
5. How to behave
Follow the Community rules. In short, do not:
- harass, threaten, exploit or endanger anyone, especially minors;
- share illegal, sexual, hateful or violent extremist content, or other people's personal data;
- attack, overload, crash or probe Krak Multiplayer, its relay, worlds or other players, or use Krak Multiplayer to attack anyone;
- cheat or scam people, sell or trade accounts or coins, spam or advertise without permission;
- use bots, scrapers or modified versions of our apps, or reverse engineer our servers, except where the law allows it;
- break the law or other people's rights, including copyright and trademarks.
6. Your content
You own what you create and post: nicknames, profile texts and images, world names and descriptions, world reviews, the texts of player ratings, messages, posts, comments and files ("your content"). You are responsible for it and must have the right to share it.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, copy, show, send, translate and adapt (for example resize) your content, only as needed to run, protect and improve Krak Multiplayer, including checks by our automatic moderation. Public content can be seen by other users, who may share it inside Krak Multiplayer (for example by reposting). World reviews and the texts of player ratings are public: they show your nickname, or "Anonymous player" if you choose so for that review or rating, and our moderation team always sees who wrote them. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep for safety, legal or moderation reasons as described in the Privacy Policy. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.
We may review, hide or remove content and act on accounts that break these Terms or the Community rules, including after reports from other users. We do not check all content in advance.
7. Hosting and joining worlds
- A host is responsible for their world: its name, description and who they let in. Hosts can set a password, approve join requests, kick and ban players.
- Krak Multiplayer does not read or change game traffic, which Minecraft encrypts. What happens inside a world is controlled by the host and by Minecraft, not by us. We can only remove players who joined through Krak Multiplayer.
- Servers listed in the catalog that are run by others are their responsibility, not ours.
- Some features need permissions on your device, such as Android's VPN feature, which Krak uses only for Minecraft's local game traffic (in the version downloaded from our website). You can turn them off; the features then may not work.
8. Krak Server
Krak Server is our free program that hosts the Minecraft servers (Bedrock Edition, Java Edition or both) running on a Linux or Windows machine through Krak Multiplayer, around the clock. You pair it with your account using a code it shows and control it remotely in the app. These Terms apply to it as to our apps.
- To pair a server, your account needs a confirmed email or Google sign-in and must not be restricted from hosting. Only install Krak Server on a machine you control and may use for this, and only approve a code shown by your own server: anyone who asks you for a code wants to host in your name.
- You are the host of every world hosted through a Krak Server paired to your account. It is shown as hosted by you, and section 7 and the Community rules apply to it as to any world you host.
- You are responsible for the machine and the game server you run: that you may run them there (for example under your hosting provider's terms), their security and costs, following the Minecraft End User License Agreement, Mojang's usage guidelines and the licences of the server software you use, and the game server's own settings, such as online-mode, the allow-list and operator rights. For example, Krak players join a Bedrock server only with online-mode turned off; if that server's own port is also open to the internet, players who connect to it directly can join under any name.
- You may choose to show your server's public address in its world's details, so that players can also join it directly in Minecraft. This is possible only for public worlds without a password or join approval, because a direct join skips Krak Multiplayer's access rules (password, join approval, friends-only and invite-only worlds, world bans). Players who join directly do not go through our relay, and we cannot remove them.
- An account can pair up to 2 servers, or 7 with Krak Plus; when Krak Plus ends, the servers stay paired, but you can add another only once the account has fewer than 2. An account hosts one world at a time, with or without Krak Plus: a world hosted from the app, a server hosted through the app or a world hosted through Krak Server (a world with both Bedrock and Java counts as one). With Krak Plus your External server can stay listed meanwhile, but not when it is the same server. We may change these limits (section 12).
- Krak Server only connects out to Krak Multiplayer and opens no ports. It shares only Minecraft servers it finds on the same machine, on ports allowed in its settings file on that machine. Remote control is a fixed set of actions, such as choosing what it hosts, starting, stopping and restarting hosting, updating it and seeing its health; none of them runs programs, reads files or changes the game server. By default it installs updates signed by us by itself; you can turn that off in its settings, but we may refuse an outdated version until it is updated.
- We may pause Krak Server for everyone, for example during an incident, and we may remove a server from an account or refuse it when it is used for abuse or to break these Terms, when the account is banned or restricted from hosting, or to protect Krak Multiplayer and its users. Changing or resetting your password, signing out everywhere, a ban and deleting your account sign out every server of the account.
- You can remove a server at any time in the app (My worlds, My servers) or on the machine (krak-server unpair, or krak-server uninstall --purge, which also deletes its settings and data). What we store about your servers is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Coins and Krak Plus
- Coins are a virtual currency inside Krak Multiplayer. At present you cannot buy them with money: our team gives them out, and players can send them to each other within limits. You can spend coins on Krak Plus (a time-limited membership with extra features) and on virtual items such as frames, decorations, sticker packs and gifts.
- Coins, Krak Plus and virtual items are a personal, non-transferable licence to use them in Krak Multiplayer. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and must not be sold or traded outside Krak Multiplayer.
- Coins and items are not refundable, except where the law requires it. We may change the prices, the items and the features of Krak Plus; we will not take away a Krak Plus period you already have, and we will tell you in advance about changes that affect you.
- If we ever sell coins, Krak Plus or other items for real money in the Android app, the purchase will be made through Google Play Billing, and Google Play's terms, its refund rules and your statutory consumer rights will apply to it. We will update these Terms before that starts.
- If your account is deleted, or banned for a serious violation, your coins, items and Krak Plus end, except where the law says otherwise.
10. Ads
We do not show personalised ads. Krak Multiplayer may show clearly labelled announcements in the feed, for example about worlds or events; Krak Plus members do not see them.
11. Other services and trademarks
Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. Discord is a trademark of Discord Inc., Twitch of Twitch Interactive, Inc., Google Play and Android of Google LLC. These companies do not sponsor or endorse Krak Multiplayer. When you link or use their services (Google, Discord, Twitch, GIFs from KLIPY), their own terms apply too. If you got the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to the download and to any purchase through Google Play, and for those purchases they win if they conflict with these Terms.
12. The service and changes
Krak Multiplayer is free to use and still in active development. We work to keep it available, but it may sometimes be unavailable, may not work with every Minecraft version or network, and may contain errors. We may change, add or remove features, set fair usage limits, or end the service. We will give reasonable notice of important changes and, if we end the service, at least 30 days' notice where we can.
13. Moderation, suspension and termination
When rules are broken we act in proportion to what happened, as described in the Community rules: usually a warning first, then limits or a temporary ban, and a permanent ban only for serious or repeated violations. We tell you the reason in the app, and you can appeal. We may also act when the law requires it or to protect users. You may stop using Krak Multiplayer and delete your account at any time.
14. Liability
We provide Krak Multiplayer "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost data or lost profits, or for the content and behaviour of other users and third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it (for example for harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence) or takes away rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
15. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and may go to its courts where the law allows. Please contact us first: most problems can be solved quickly.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms, for example when Krak Multiplayer or the law changes. We show the date of the current version at the top. If a change matters for you, we tell you in the app before it applies and ask you to accept the new version to keep using your account. If you do not agree, you can stop using Krak Multiplayer and delete your account.
17. Language and contact
These Terms exist in Ukrainian, English and Russian. If the versions differ, the Ukrainian version prevails, unless the law of your country says otherwise. Questions: support@krak-mp.cc.
